Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to process our application?
It may take several days to process your application. Remember we are not a commercial organization; the group is run by a volunteer committee in their spare time. Consequently, you occasionally may have to wait until the next committee meeting for your application to be dealt with.
What happens after we've completed and sent our application to join?
To ensure the group remains friendly, well balanced and secure, we invite all couples applying for membership to meet meet with a couple (or couples) who are already members of Couples Only. This is a purely informal and social (i.e. clothes-on) occasion, when you are given the opportunity to meet some members, find out how we function, and ask any questions. We will ask you to reveal some details about yourselves, and to be honest about your sexual desires and what you hope to gain from joining the group. This meeting will allow us to decide whether or not you will fit in with the existing membership. At the same time you have the chance to consider if the group is what you are looking for.
We will telephone you within a few days to tell you if your application has been accepted or not.
What clothes are worn at parties?
Ladies - smart sexy, dress to attract.
Men - smart casual, no trainers, dress to attract.
How do you keep out frauds and reporters?
We are a private group and our membership lists are never published. Your identity will be carefully checked before you are admitted to the group.
You will also have to sign a declaration that you have been honest in your application and you will not reveal or publish any details about the group.
I do not live in East Anglia. Can I join the group?
Most of our members live in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Although we consider all applications from couples, we are a parties group, and the parties are usually held in the area described.
What happens if I lose my partner?
Our group is solely for couples in steady relationships. Unfortunately you cannot remain a member when you are between partners. If however you form a new stable relationship you will be welcome to reapply.
What do I do if I want to contact someone I met at a party but did not manage to get their phone number?
You should telephone a member of the committee. We will contact the couple on your behalf, pass on your telephone number to them, and tell them that you would like them to ring you.
My wife and I are both bisexual. May we join the group?
We do have a few bisexual females in the group. However at present we do not welcome couples in which the male member is bisexual.
